MacLampsX is a simple and fun little app to make your holiday season a little more festive while you’re sitting at your desk. I love breaking it out each year. If you want to try it out, you can download it here. MacLampsX is a fun application for decorating your desktop with different kinds of festive lights. Managing contacts is one of the most important and challenging activities in business. Unfortunately, though, there are still a lot of business people, from solopreneurs, or those engaged in small and medium-sized businesses and corporations that fail to do it efficiently.

Here’s a fun little holiday post. So you are feeling festive for the holiday season and want a cool way to decorate your computer desktop–I have the perfect app for you. The app is called MacLampsX and it’s completely free.

Here’s what MacLampsX can look like

MacLampsX

While the app hasn’t been updated for a few years, it still works as of macOS Mojave (the current release of macOS as of December 2018). To make it as easy as possible to download, I’m hosting the app on my server. You can download it here.

Once you have the app downloaded, open the DMG file and drag the MacLampsX icon into your Applications folder. With the app installed, open it from your Applications folder and you’ll be able to start customizing your desktop with various festive Christmas lights, snowflakes, and holly.

The app also offers a snowflake screensaver that you can enable. Plus, you can even set music to play when the screensaver comes on. Want a little Mariah Carey All I Want for Christmas Is You to play as snow falls on your screen? Now you can!

MacLampsX is a simple and fun little app to make your holiday season a little more festive while you’re sitting at your desk. I love breaking it out each year. If you want to try it out, you can download it here.
