- Jan 02, 2019 As we rebuild Microsoft Edge atop the Chromium open-source platform, we are working through various scenarios that behave differently in the new browser. In most cases, such scenarios also worked differently between 2018's Edge Legacy (aka 'Spartan') and Chrome, but users either weren't aware of the difference (because they used Trident-derived browsers inside their enterprise).
- ClickOnce activated in Chromium Edge - Browser still downloads deployment manifest instead of starting application We deploy one of our applications as a ClickOnce application.
- ClickOnce Extension. Before running the Workflow Studio for the first time make sure that your browser has installed ClickOnce Extension. The link is available.
- By default, ClickOnce is disabled on Microsoft Edge Chromium. To enable ClickOnce (in Edge) please open a new tab, type (or copy link and paste) the following link.

Launching Workflow Studio
The workflows are available in the Administration application → Services & Processes → Workflows page.
Workflow management is made in the Workflow Studio:
Prerequisites

Operating System

We use ClickOnce to deploy our WPF applications. I can't find any forum related to ClickOnce. Right now the application works on Internet Explorer and Edge. But as Microsoft is moving to Chromium based Edge, we'd like to know if ClickOnce will still be supported in Edge.
Workflow Studio is available only for Windows OS.
ClickOnce Extension
Before running the Workflow Studio for the first time make sure that your browser has installed ClickOnce Extension. The link is available in the Quick Starts section as shown in the image above.

ClickOnce extension or equivalent that enables launching ClickOnce applications from your browser is required for any browser run on Windows OS, for instance:
Clickonce Edge Chromium Software
- Google Chrome requires ClickOnce for Google Chrome;
- Firefox works with Breez ClickOnce;
- Microsoft Edge requires enabled ClickOnce support as described below.
Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based)
ClickOnce Extension additional installation can be skipped for Chromium-based Microsoft Edge (available beginning January 15, 2020) if the edge://flags/#edge-click-once
option is set to Enabled:
Workflow Studio

The Workflow Studio will be opened in a separate window and present a splash screen while initializing. The application has two different behaviors, depending on whether it was opened with or without the context of a workflow.
If there was no workflow selected (launch from Administration → Services & Processes → Workflows → Quick Start → Workflow Studio), the Workflow Studio will immediately show the Recent menu item of the File menu.
Meta4 Clickonce For Edge Chromium
If a workflow is selected and you click Edit in Studio under Actions, the selected workflow will be opened in the Workflow Studio Editor.
