This update is packaged as a .zip file containing the replacement ReceiverStorefrontPlatform-x64.msi, ReceiverStorefrontAddIn-x64.msi, ServiceRecord-x64.msi, WebReceiverAddIn-x64.msi files. For more information about deploying msi files, see Microsoft article 884016 or visit the Microsoft Web site and search on keyword msiexec.
- To install this update successfully, servers must not have registry modification restrictions in place.
- This update might or might not prompt you to restart the server when the installation or uninstallation is complete. You must restart the server for the installation to complete.
- If the need arises to uninstall this update, you must remove the entire feature according to the uninstall instructions below then reinstall the base product. When removing the feature, all configuration information is lost.
- If you manually replaced the PowerShell scripts under %ProgramFiles%CitrixReceiver Storefront ManagementCmdlets, you must delete the replacement scripts before installing this update. Otherwise the scripts files are not updated.
- While installing ReceiverStorefrontPlatform-x64.msi, an installation target folder dialog appears. When this happens, do not modify the installation target folder.
To install this update:

- Copy the file to a shared folder on the network.
- Extract the compressed file and save the ReceiverStorefrontPlatform-x64.msi, ReceiverStorefrontAddIn-x64.msi, ServiceRecord-x64.msi, and WebReceiverAddIn-x64.msi files on the computer you want to update.
- Run the .msi files in the following order:
- ReceiverStorefrontPlatform-x64.msi
- ReceiverStorefrontAddIn-x64.ms
- ServiceRecord-x64.msi
- WebReceiverAddIn-x64.msi
- Restart the computer.
Note: This update adds the following entries to Programs and Features. These entries appear in addition to the Citrix Receiver Storefront entry, which was created when you installed the base product:

- From the Start menu, select Settings > Control Panel.

- Follow the directions on-screen.

- Citrix Receiver for Web Add-In
- Citrix Receiver Storefront Service Record Management
- Citrix Receiver Storefront Add-In

This procedure can be used to disable the update prompt,if the client is prompted to update the client version,when logging on to StoreFront.

StoreFront 2.x
Use a text editor to open the web.config file for Receiver for Web. This is typically located in the C:inetpubwwwrootCitrixstorenameWeb directory, where storename is the name specified for the store.
Search for 'pluginassistant' and change the line item for pluginassistant enabled to false.
StoreFront 3.x
- Use a text editor to open the web.config file for Receiver for Web. This is typically located in the C:inetpubwwwrootCitrixstorenameWeb directory, where storename is the name specified for the store.
- Search for protocolHandler
- Look for an entry similar to the one below. Note: Depending on the StoreFront version, the following line may vary slightly.

- Change <protocolHandler enabled='true' to <protocolHandler enabled='false'
