• Nov 12, 2020 Luminar 4 is an AI powered image manipulation program that’s easy enough even I can use it! One of the challenges though is that it doesn’t formally support Affinity Photo out of the box, and Affinity Photo is my photo manipulation weapon of choice.
• Affinity Photo 1.9 and Luminar 4 have different perspectives on photo editing. The first (Affinity Photo) aims to provide advanced tools for adjusting and fine-tuning each aspect of your photos. Luminar embraces Artificial Intelligence (AI) and aims to provide automatic tools for fast and efficient editing without too much human intervention.
• Luminar 4 is a very powerful and effective mid-range photo-editor which is pioneering some very effective AI editing tools. Its AI Sky Replacement filter is quite exceptional, and its portrait enhancement tools are more subtle and effective than ever you'd expect in an all-round image editor.

It is unlikely that PhotoDirector would compete squarely with Lightroom, Photoshop, or Affinity Photo, but it may be a perfect alternative to Paint Shop Pro or Elements. There are also some interesting visual effects and AI powered features that are an improvement in PhotoDirector.
